hey guys, i was fishin a river near me and while i was fishing, among the trout and salmon i spotted what im 99.99999% sure was a sheepshead, even someone fishing near me though it was a sheep's head. Is this normal ? i know theyre bottom feeders so did they come up to eat the salmon eggs like the trout ? i also always thought they were more of a warm water species and this creek is pretty cold, have you guys ever seen this, i know i havent

Freshwater Drum (Sheepshead) can be found in many rivers, of course it is much less common than a lake but they will reside in rivers too.

Drum are everywhere. They reside in the rivers.
