Maybe you should drive down to Buffalo area? Prices are usually cheaper in US even with the currency exchange, no ?

I think if you visit LeBaron or BassProShop, they do have a form for Canada.

And yeah, it is true that it's cheaper to get the reel from the states.

However, I do have a site bookmarked where they offer excellent prices on reels and free shipping for Canada if reel is over $100 or something.

Is it a reliable place to shop online?
Their website look so... made in 10 minutes alike... i take your money and hide alike feel to it.

yeah, the site looks like crap, but apparently quite a few from ofnc have purchased through it with no problems.

Hmmm. $269 at BPS, was $199 during their sale. Unfortunately they sold out and when they do get it in again it will be back to $269.

The first place I called in the U.S. had it for $199. + a $50 mail-in rebate... for U.S. residents only!

I will keep an eye out for this reel when I'm down in the U.S.
