Shore fishing @ Frenchmans Bay any good after rain?

Do you think that the shore fishing at frenchmans bay will be good for bass or is this rain mainly good for trout and salmon???

Im still too nervous to start trout fishing....im a newbie!

i'd be leary of fishing today/tonight...too much electricty in the air....an holding a 7ft graphite lightning rodinmy hands isn't on my bucket list

After the rain is good for bottom fish... If you're a newbie and want to have some fun fishing, use a large egg sinker and worm or minnow technique, and have fun catching bullheads and other catfish, sucker, drum, as well as bass, perch and other gamefish.. Try any river mouths.
