Shore fishing in/around Waterloo/Kitchener?

Hi any recommendations for shore fishing spots in and around waterloo/kitchener? Going with some friends probably looking to catch panfish. Thanks

Bloomingdale ponds can be fun, if you can find a place away from the dogs. Seriously - dog owners there will let their dogs swim/play right where you're fishing.

Im very curious as to what one of the ponds holds bass? Ive fished the eastern ponds (the group of 3) the 2 that are on the north and south side of the pathway. I didn't catch or see any fish. Am I fishing the wrong ones? Does the northern most pond (the one by itself) hold bass?

I've got small bass there and a ton of pan fish. Huge carp there as well, but never targeted them. Very aggressive pan fish though.
