shoreline collapse on detroit river

so read a couple of articles in the local windsor star newspaper, and a company that stores gravel and rock along the banks of the detroit river lost some of its product.apparently the ground beneath gave way and the gravel and rock went into the river.says the gov is sending people to investigate.

Would that possibly be beneficial for the river if there was problems with sediment as the gravel and rocks would create a better riverbed for future spawning? Just a thought.

Thinking the same thing - perfect habitat and spawning grounds. Crawfish haven - crankbaits off the rubble in a couple of years - SM.

yeah i hope they don't go crazy and make things worse.if they can just leave it then so be it.
