Simcoe ice?

Anyone know how the ice is doing on Simcoe. I would imagine its ether ready or just about there in some places.

Is there a website that updates with ice conditions?

There is another website you can go to www.fishinglakesimcoe.ca. There is a guy that provides daily updates and some video of ice conditions on the lake.

My pond that's 3 feet deep isn't frozen yet lol

4-5 inches around Virginia beach. Less than 2 on cooks bay. Main lake is open water.

Thanks for the updates I'm checking conditions daily. might try a local pond and see how the ice is and grab some crappie.

Lake Herring aka Cisco = no keeper they all must go back in the water

I've heard that they are pretty tasty. There might be an open season for them sometime in the future.

they are closed in simcoe, but there are other lakes that have open seasons. (read the reg....)
