Small Snake Trying to Eat a Bigger Frog

While on our way back up the Whirlpool Niagara Stairways. Witness this 24 " snake trying to swallow a Frog that was bigger than what it can handle.

My buddy grabbed the snake by its tail, and it refuse to drop the frog.

Sorry for the shaky amateur video. The frog tried to escape and hid under a rock, but the snake persisted, and refuse to allow the frog to get inside further.

That frog can eat that snake :lol: Awesome find, vicious circle.

The snake couldn't drop the frog, it wasn't refusing. There comes a point of no return, where the snake has to continue swallowing. I have fed hatchling snakes from time to time ( problem feeders ), you would only need to get the food a wee bit into their mouths and down the chute it went, auto pilot style. Not sure what this snakes ultimate fate is, hopefully he regurgitates the leg before a coyote comes and snatches both of 'em :lol:
