Hello,
Recently I was driving by this tiny stream and I saw a few guys down there fishing. The unfenced part of the stream is the biggest area, and there is a bridge, about 10 feet across, all the area underneath th bridge is dark. On each side of The bridge There is a 4 foot open section. I'm guessing there are trout in the stream but I don't know. Any guess on what's in there or what kind of tackle I should use in the case of trout?

Bobber split shot and hook and worm for starters. Even better, why not ask the guys fishing there what they are after.

small spinners, nymphs, crappie tubes, worms aside from the spinners, usually best presented with a small float and minimal split shot
6lb line or less, maybe 8lb if you think there is steelhead, fluorocarbon leaders help aswell.
could be browns rainbows steelhead or brookie depending on river and location
