Just thought it would be interesting to see what everyone here does for a living. Sometimes you hear some cool ones and other times some strange ones. So lets here them.

I'm a student as well. But I worry that I will one day have to work more than I fish

Took an early retirement last year after almost 30 years in Hospital Administration here in Ontario. More time to go fishing now!

Inside sales rep for a transport company.

My role in transport has evolved from being a Business development manager, account manager ect where I would have to seek out new accounts and new business.

I was able to bring my top 10 accounts over with me, I have been given 176 C level accounts at my current firm.
9-5 and I have no work cell phone, no access to emails after hours. I freakin love it first time in 4 years I haven't had a company cell phone!

Industrial Flooring Installer. I work almost anywhere in Ontario and always have my gear with me...just in case.

Almost forgot ....... my self I work for a defence contractor ( L-3 Wescam ) in the Mechanical Engineering Test and development Dept. Are products are sold to most NATO friendly countries, but are main contract is the U.S.A, we supply the army, navy, air force , FBI, CIA with are products. Here is a link below if you are interested in seeing the products we make.

Bow Man thats really cool, what an interesting job!

Im a recent grad from university, looking for a job in my field ( HR ) and working at rogers for about 3 years.

I also do a lot of investing for some extra cash in various things such as equities, precious metals, coins (as I also collect them).

Bow Man, that sounds like an extremely interesting line of work! I'm hoping to transition into consultation soon (ideally in the environmental sector), but we'll see what happens.

I'm a chemical production operator for a water treatment chemical company. Before this I was a government welding inspector for 8 yrs.

I have to admit surprised to see so many students, but good to see "young" people enjoying the sport of fishing.
