Me. At my Cousins Cottage just off the Rideau System, North of Kingston. She's about a half Mile in from the Main Channel, in a bay, it freezes over there. Her Husband likes to Ice Fish so I went with him one day.

He said it's the Biggest Pike he's ever seen pulled out of there. I was using an OLD Zebco Cardinal 4 on a 6' Abu Garcia 400 Rod. At 6' it was the shortest one I had.

The Reel is in the second row, second from the right in my "Spare Reel" selection.

The Rod is shown in My Ceiling Mount Picture, second in from the back. with an Abu Garcia Cardinal 454 GL on it.

That's my Cousins Husbands hand pulling him up through the hole. I also enjoy Photography and wanted to get a Pic of that. The Lure, whatever it was, literally fell out of his mouth at that point!

Took a few more Pics on the ice (which I can't find now) and back in He went. I only do Live Release unlss I'm with someone who likes to eat Fish. BUT! This one would have gone back in anyway!

Just out of Interest. I Inherited My Grandfathers VERY OLD Tackle Box and one of these days I'm going to Tear Down and Redo those 4 Beautiful Level Wind Reels. 3 Shakespears and 1 Pflueger.

is that why when I do a google search of " ice pike" that pic shows up and then when u click it it takes u to a thread on an ice fishing only forum that was posted by a mod and is about hand bombing pike not using rods lol not calling you our or anything just saying anyone of this forum can do the same google search i did and see for themselves lol

Nice laker rnc, and I thought rainbow_b was a troll (no offense)! Good to know she's a real forum member/real angler.

Redneck- you may have a slight tendency to hold your fish off to the side, but at least they are of you and your fish! im not getting into copy and paste, but the one where you have the frozen laker held in one hand , but still to the left, is classic !
i wonder how many of our fish the chickenhawk caught on other boards?
