what is your opinion on the color of the spawn sac and the color of the Styrofoam floaters do you match it color for color or the floater colors doesn't really matter, im confused because I have 5 different color spawn sac bags and like 1 color spawn sac floaters, and in which one works the best for you in any water condition

i personally dont use the floaters anymore but when i did, i would try to match the colors of them to the eggs as much as possible

good tip SHMOGLEY I just use floaters to make the hook neutral, so that the bag and the hook will hopefully float around the water freely, but what will be the reason that the color of the roe will change? I just use borax to cure them, and they remain the same color after curing, plus will roe color really matter so much? or natural will be the best all around? im asking this because I will sometimes fish 2 different water bodies at the same day with very different water conditions, so I kinda want to be like in the position where I can fish both waters without sacrificing visibility,,, or does it matter?

If you are fishing below a float forget the floaters, which IMHO are designed for bottom bouncing or still fishing.

the reason im asking is because i see an older guy fishing beside me last fall was rigged with a tiny split shot around 18" from the hook then he gave me a few bags cause i ran out and his had 1styro float in each bag and it worked good for me, and i tie my bags the same since then, but im not sure if it makes any difference in visibility regarding the sac color and if you are still fishing would the color of the floaters matter?

I don't think the styro ball made the difference... most likely the cure or the type of spawn used. When I tie bags its mostly chartreuse, white and pink... with some blue. Like staffman mentioned, the styrofoam is used mostly for still fishing like casting off a beach with slip sinkers or bottom bouncing.

okay, then it leaves me with that, no more balls needed, thanks guys you saved me a few bucks of styro balls, that's why I always like to ask around because I sometimes make a misconception of things and stuff,,
