I am finding that walleye and pike are harder to catch right now with spinners than they are with live bait.
Has anyone noticed that spinners work more effectively in the fall? I am sure each lake/river is a little different too.
My thinking is that in the fall there are fewer insects on the bottom and surface so pike and walleye will smash anything that flies by. Now, I need to be presenting them with a very easy meal.
Bass, on the other hand, continue to smash anything and everything throughout the day
