Went out to the Geen today to battle the crowds. Water was very low and clear, it was a slow day over all and my buddy and I managed to land a dropback each while my buddy lost a huge fresh fish. Many of the anglers on the trailer park side went home empty handed so we felt good about the two fish between us. There were sooo many fish up in the closed section, a few natives were just killin em. They were both smaller fish mine was maybe 3-3.5 and his was probably 4 but did they ever put up a big fight. No need to worry about hown they were handled for the pics...im eating mine right now. Fresh fish on good friday, perfect. :D

very nice pic's, nice to see someone gettin them up there.... water looks very nice as well...

i hate how the "natives" can fish where ever they want, but yet "others" cant..... are we not all the same..???

Im a fan of big water, the fish fight much harder and have the current on their side as well. I do enjoy being able to stand outside of the water on the smaller rivers though, I lost feeling in my feet a few times today.

It's definitely a different experience fishing the big water. It's not my favorite thing to stand in cold moving water for hours on end, but if that where the fish are, then so be it.
