Hey everyone,
in the last couple of days ive been going out to the various tribs but caught nothing. The water is extremely muddy and i haven't spotted any fish. Can anyone give me some advice please. Should i keep fishing or wait until the mud goes down ? Are the fish even there?
thanks.

Why is the water muddy ?

Has it rained recently out that way to muddy up the water ?
You'll have to connect with the eastern trib steelheaders to solve this one .
Where I live , the rivers and the water up here are really clear and low .
okay thanks anyway but even if its muddy are the fish there?

I've been to the duffins recently and water was clear as other eastern tribs..
And I can assure you that there are some fish there..
Good luck on your next trip!

Yesterday was very clear out west. I'm guessing those two tribs were "murky" by your normal standards no? They get much more muddy than they are at the moment

Fishing is normally better in those conditions anyway.By experience I can tell you they see us better than we see them.

k ill keep trying to get on my first steelhead

Went for a walk today and bowmanville was as low as I have seen it this year and super crystal clear. Its been clear for over a week, where did you go that you found muddy water?

With the water being low and clear try small subtle presentations in deep slow moving pools, most fish are in a holding pattern waiting for the rain to hit. If we get a few good solid rains before the opener the opener will suck for the crowds :D

Even with clear water, steelhead can be difficult to spot. So just because you can't see them, doesn't mean they are not there.

Try your luck in november  That's when the open sections are crazy good
