There are so many East Lake O tribs, no one reads the "Steelhead and Salmon forum rules"? Take a walk along any trib and you'll find a pool, wether there's fish in it is another thing. It's not like giving someone a spot will guarantee a fish either. So many of the experienced guys here have put in the time and effort to find good spots.

Years ago when I was a noob, I walked Wilmot from hwy 2 all the way down to the mouth several times. It was a great hike and day of exploration and discovery. The rat race is making people too time conscience to search for their own spots. That "stop and smell the roses" is now get me a spot so I can catch a fish and go home.

The best solution for that "instant" fish is one of those pay ponds. Just like the one you mentioned. Show up, pull rod out, cast, fish on, pay, go home.....lol. No searching, hiking, smell of roses or effort required.

Schnip you should list that pond for those people....lol.

I went to Glen Haffy years ago. At that time it was ok. Not too far in Caledon. Easy pickings, I think the trout there were starved.....lol.
