Hello everyone, I am new to this site and area and have been to a couple creeks here and Oakville but have not had a lot of luck. Fishing used to be a big part of my life which I shared with my grandfather but as I got older and started a family had less time to get out. I am again returning to sport and have a renewed passion and will admit a small obsession with getting into some trout and salmon. I have been to 40 mile and 20 mile but not adventured to far as most times it is with my son and he is only 3. If anyone can help me out I have been reading the treads and can really respect your imput into where I should be looking and at what times of the year, thank you._DSF0168.JPG

It's been 10 years since, but try the creek that flows under the QEW highway RIGHT in Grimsby. Decent rainbows there back then. Used to park north of the highway and walk under the tunnel and fished right under the highway. It's small water, shallow, and can be quite dark after a good rain, but my brother and I pulled several nice fish.

Sadly, its been a very long time!

Best of luck!

Nice bass! As for the areas you are fishing just keep plugging away. Salmon are around and the trout will follow soon.

if you live in oak ville i think you are near Bronte creek which is a very good spot I've heard
