Small grubs and jigs use for panfish. That crawfish you should try for some bass especially right now around simcoe. The bass jig with the bristles I suggest you do not use unless its rated for your rod because it can be really heavy on a medium action rod. The spinners will catch almost anything I am sure. Should give you basics.

@ct- yeah, i made a deal with my dad that i will get one last fishing trip for the rest of the year. in return i got the best fishing trip ever.

@ct- i know,i really regret it, on the side note, that rod is my bass fishing rod. I also have a light action rod for panfishing/small bass fishing. I m getting a pen fishing rod for portability, in case i go somewhere where fishing can be an option, instead of being stuck doing nothing, if u know what i mean (directed to parents)

Your rod is a bit heavy but it'll do

@alwayscatching- i have a 6'6 medium heavy spincast rod, is that fine?
I would not throw a jig bait on a spinning rod. MAYBE if you used it as a swim jig, you can be ok with that I guess.
