sturgeon news...not so good news

That sucks, however I was on the MNR site and the sturgeon located in rivers by Timmins seem to be doing fine. They won't be there long though if more dams are built, some dams in the area already killed off the sturgeon by not allowing them to spawn.
WOW! My dad was watching the Food Network, and called me in. They were catching sturgeon at Algonquin Park, and they actually took one and then skipped to the dude cutting it and taking its caviar. Isn't this illegal? After checking Zone 15 regulations, Lake sturgeon are closed all year long...
