If you don't swing a squidro for steelhead you are missing out.

By far one of the most versatile flies on the swing, can be tied to match any condition or any time of year. By far the squidro is my favourite fly for steelhead but it has also produced browns, pike, bass and laketrout (variation)
I will post a link for all of you who have yet to experience this flies simple fish catching ability

Super easy tie, one of those flies that I dont feel bad about passing onto a fellow swinger. I'll be sure to bring plenty when I eventually make my way up to AK!

I have seen a show on it before. They look amazing. Good salmon fly in Ontario also.
