Hit my west trib this morning. First hour tried single egg ,yarn, sponge.Switched to fly .Fish on. Nice 4lber. Decided to be lazy and not head down river to shallower water to land her. Thought I'd stay put and step boulder to boulder. Slip. Under I went. I mean my face was pushing gravel bottom.. Tough to get up with one arm and that current pushing. Got to my feet still landed my bow but needless to say had to head home soaking wet. Lol Still worth it though. Sic

Haha that's too bad buddy. Congrats on landing the fish though. Curious if you had a wading belt and did your waders fill up?

Thanks berg. Like I said I was completely submerged. Wading belt a life saver. Although at the time it seemed I was under forever I was not wet below the crotch . My smokes died but my phone and beamer key are still working. Have my phone in rice between texts trying to remove any moisture. Lol

You aren't the first one to take a swim, and I'm sure won't be the last!

I can tell you from experience that the Grand is a cold place to swim in the fall, expecially with waders on
