Hello:
New to this forum and "new" to fishing after a messing around as a teenager and just started again in my mid-40's because my 9 year old was excited to try it out. I will save the rest of my bio for later.
However, we have a family trip to Perth this coming weekend. We will be right in town and not out in the country. I know the Tay River runs right through the centre of things there. Realistically are there any publicly accessible places within walking distance of downtown to get access to the river? The Stewart Park Music Festival is on that weekend so that will rule out any peaceful chances in that fantastic park but any other nearby suggestions? I'm not looking for for "secret" spot just general areas that are NOT private properly along the riverside.
Thanks very much and I look forward to learning LOTS from this site.
