Just a, shout out to thank Fishing World for the amazing customer service today!

( So first day out with my new Fenwick Ultralight and it BROKE....... So after a morning of fishing I went to Fishing world, where I purchased said rod. )

So I walk in, place the rod on the counter, and before I could say anything the salesman walked over and said" hey didn't you just buy that 2 weeks ago"??? to this is I replied yeah, and all he said was go grab one off the shelf WOW!! He said they would take care of all the warranty stuff...etc... I didn't even have to explain what happened or present my bill of sale.

This kind of service goes along way with me, especially with a BIG BASS store opening soon 20 minutes down the road from me. I will continue to shop and support my" MOM and POP" shops. ( I am not trying to bash any big stores ).

So thanks again Fishing World.

Cheers

Glad to hear that worked out well for you. We get to used to being bossed around and not taken care of so much at various stores, that this sort of thing is very welcome and quite often wins business and loyalty - not to mention also word of mouth. :)

Good on them!

;) . I have never had a bad experience in that shop.

the ma and pa shops definitely have their place, they have no choice but to offer excellent customer service, its the only way they can compete with the big boys that offer one stop shopping. They'll never beat them on price or selection, so they gotta win somewhere.

Where is this Fishing World place? I must take a look. Do they carry any higher end reels and baits?
as said its on Barton st. in Hamilton. And yes they carry a lot of brands that other places don't. And their prices are reasonable as well.
