The last few of the season

I went out yesterday with a buddy to scratch the steelhead itch one last time before they're all gone.

Ended up hooking into a few, went 3/10. Two decent ones and a shaker. They put up pretty good fights and were extremely acrobatic even after being all spawned out.

Weather was cold in the morning, but by noon my top half was in a t-shirt and the bottom half was cooking in the waders :shock:

Oh well...Am I the only one that can't wait until fall comes? lol :twisted:

My first season of steelheading has come to and end. I met a lot of solid people on the water this season and made a few fishing partners. Overall it was awesome.

Beauty fish Chris, good way to end the season! And why wait till next fall? Picks are open and bass is around the corner! Make sure you got a couple days off.
