Nice pics gentlemen ... I unfortuneately cannot add any Steely pics as I couldn't land the three I had on a week ago Saturday. Five of us were out and went 9 fish for the day and only 3 landed , one drop back hen and two shakers . I did however take pics as always of other things that catch my wondering eye ....

Heres some shots of one of the shakers, maybe about 2.5lb. I really need to start bringing out the camera and keeping the blackberry in the waders.

NADO what brand and model is that net?
I bought it at bass pro, its in the fly fishing section for about 23 bucks and its rubber coated. The nice thing about it is its a long and narrow net which is good for landing steelhead and carrying around with you. When you get into the 8+ lb steelhead it becomes a bit more difficult to land them but as long as you get em in head first it works out most of the time.

They also have ones with telescopic handles which I might go for next time I lose this net lol. The only problem is the longer handle makes it more difficult to carry around and its already dragging on the ground as it is.

Here is a full shot of the net, I believe its a Frabill.

What are shakers guys? Sorry if its redundant
Shakers are the little guys, the small fish that can't stop shakin' once out of the water and are a pain to calm down and get decent control of.

I had a feeling you would like that shot

The fight of that fish was really good and other than the really nasty growth is looked healthy. There is nothing in that pic for scale but is was a big fish too.
