I should have brought out the GoPro when we got soaked below the ladder.....
 
Even the fish came ashore so much water.
Thought that was a myth.
I've never seen white caps on that stretch.
I'll remember that day more vivid than hitting steel every other drift.

Nice! Been meaning to get down there for some jigged up lakers. I stocked up on X-Zone Swammers a while back and haven't had a chance to use them.

Is that for larger swim baits/soft plastics? I find if I'm using something a bit smaller then even 1/4 oz can do the trick (Gulp Alive Minnow). For bigger baits with more drag, at least 3/8 oz seems to be the ticket.
