I once was snorkelling at my cottage and found a school of massive carp. I mean easy 30 lbs. I went and got a rod and corn and came back snorkelling and managed to catch him. And it did pull me all over the place. It was pretty cool really feeling the power of the fish

Ya I was floating. It took a long time to get one to bite. I was in my teens. But it pulled me all over. It was cool having the snorkel and mask on while it happen. It took about 30 min to land it.

wouldnt you reeling in pull you closer to the fish then vice versa since when the both of you swim the carp has more torque ?
