Thanks gentleman for the warm reception. Reading some posts, it appears that most people in Ontario fish from canoes. Downunder, a canoe does not fare well against 2-3m swells. Anyhow, I have included some pictures from my experiences down here and and a picture of the kayaks that I had used around Sydney and offshore. It is hard to compare catching saltwater fish with Pike and Musky, or even the crazy Carp...

I would really like to find out if anyone heard of Hobie kayaks up there. Especially, the Adventure Island. Sort of pumped to bring with me the experience and fish Lake Ontario on the sailing yak.

Are you down here now? That rig would be a great setup for doing some Kayak trolling for salmon when they start staging at the river mouths. Ive always wanted to do something like that but those kayaks are out of my price range. If your down here throw on a dipsy diver a flasher and a spoon and your good to go!
