Anyone has used three way swivels for Walleye fishing? I am planning to try and use one I came up with a plan where I will attach the main line to one end then a weight to another swivel eye and the live bait hooked onto a floating jig head so as to float the bait off the bottom I wanted to try something new and in theory this technique should work but I guess we will see how practical it will be. Also if you do not have any deep diving lures you can attach a weight to the three way swivel to make your regular lipped rapalas etc dive deeper. It does work and you do not need to buy the long lipped baits you can actually use your regular lipped baits to fish deep.

I picked up some 3 way swivels last month will try it out once the water gets warmer and the fish go deeper. I also want to try out the torpedo diver this summer.

A good thing to do is use the snagless weights (like the kind made by Lindy). Some people put a lighter test line on the weighted line in case it gets snagged, you don't lose everything.
