I'm going to be heading down to Bronte Pier if there is anyone intrestred in meeting me down there, I should be down there around 330/4 until who knows how late. I'll have a white 9' rod, and either waering a realtree shirt, or a blue jacket. Also, can't miss it, i have a Fu Manchu. lol

errr...make it 430/5 lol. Steaks on the menu for dinner tonight when my mom gets home at 330, sooooo i'm having steak dinner lol.

HAHA. Thanks...I'm hopping I might lucky enough for my first salmon, got some red and white spinners, and some lures so we will see.

Well once again...I got skunked at Bronte Pier. No one had anything around me. One guy had a bite but that was it. ohh well...still fun none the least! lol.

shouldve stayed for a few hours after dark

I had some T.V shows I wanted to get home for haha. There's some I won't miss, and we don't have PVR haha

Gotta keep trying. Maybe switch lures and see how that goes?

I was there over 3 hours, and used a variety of lures and spinners. Even used some roe that i bought on way to pier. Nothing. I even added roe to the spinner to see what would happen haha. Just got to keep trying, as I've learned It always takes a bit for me lol. My record at bronte pier is Me:0 Bronte Pier:15 haha.

Oh. Don't give up! But to be perfectly honest many of the salmon went upstream making pier fishing harder now.

I only got 1 bite so far too, I'm trying too, have you read http://www.ontariofishingforums.com/forum/topic/12280-port-credit-salmon-%E2%80%9Cpier%E2%80%9D-fishing-tips-for-noobs/?

Thats what I was thinking, I was talking to a guy their and I made that statement and he said not bronte, everywhere else they are, but he was up bronte today and didn't see any Salmon, but said he got a trout or a bow, i don't remember which one.

HAHA...i think I saw that topic the other day but never read it, I am going to be sure to check it out though since you've pointed it out haha.

If I remember correctly, Bronte's largest run of salmon went up last week leaving even some of the boat fisherman hanging. There are certainly other spots around the GTA shores you can find that have salmon if you research

Oh yeah, I'm going to hit the credit up, and see how that goes as i know that water as well, and then if no luck time to read around the forums and see what i come up.

You can watch any show online, lots of streaming sites. 80% of the salmon I've seen caught on lures have been caught in the night.

Strange. I catch all of mine during daylight. With the heaviest peaks at Sunrise/Sunset.

OMFG just think about how many fish you could've caught at night!

Lol :D

Ever since the imported mussels gave Lake O 30' visibility the daylight bite off Bronte has been......slim. If you have a canoe or small boat you can fish the frogwater below Rebecca St. once they start to run (i.e. now), but lure chucking off the piers is still producing......after dark.

 I better go get a flashlight. The spots I normally fish might be a bit dangerous at night going through the trees, but it looks like it'll be worth a shot.

haha...I'm thankful I already have one, it's superbright used it for security. lol. But I want to get the flashlight clip for the hat. leave your hands free lol.
