Today's 3h paddle/fish on Lower Detroit River

This morning a buddy and I took his canoe out to the Lasalle Marina launch, paddled out to the weedline and tried our hand at fishing.

First we were using live bait, with no avail, I switched to a green spinnerbait, and within a few casts landed a 2lb Largemouth...

I am going to try to add a video we shot, hopefully, I can add it correctly.

I did not shoot the video, it was my buddy, I am the younger guy in the video...

The part of the river we were on is outside of Windsor, far away from the bridge, and only a few higher end houses around.

FISHCRIS, let me know if you want to get out, I've got a canoe, and all the equipment

Shame the economy both their and Detroit has gone so bad.
