Hello again...

As I have said it before, please download and save the map to your computer.
Please keep it to yourself and do not link it to other website/ forums. besides, I'll be renaming the file every day to invalidate the current link & validate with new link.

Enjoy and Happy Fishing !!

I put some topo maps of rice lake on the user gallery... too lazy to learn how to put it here using that gallery...

i remeber someone pm'ing me a link or ftp to something that held a topo map of most lakes in ontario... it was on the old ofn site though, so im not sure i can find it.

So now looking at the topo of the Island.

Which area would be prime spot for Piking?

Or does it depend on the water temperature and such ?

Please explain in details.

Thanks for the maps !!

To answer your question, water temps does a play a role with pike, look for deep spots (cooler water) & transition points (shallow to deep water) in the channels, anywhere where its deep w/ weedbeds are potential pike factories, especially in summertime. In those deeper areas, I would just cast a husky jerk or a spinnerbait along the edge of the weedline.

mikeymikey you ask wayyyyyy too many questions. Just get out and fish :D .
You should hopefully soon realize its a much bigger reward if you figure somthing out for yourself instead of being spoonfed every fact of fishing.
Also no need to pluralize the last word of every sentence.

:D just my rant for the day :D

Great maps thanks a bunch!
I was at deep pike cut last week and caught a few pikes there. Temps were 30C and calm.
I'm looking to link up with somebody to do some fishing from time to time.
