Free and $5 entrance fee's, I'll be helping out one of the booths.

Also I wanna see if I can fish the trout pond for kids.
Which booth will you be helping PUMP? If I come out, I'll swing by.

Anyone else manning any booths? Good to meet some fellow OFF members in person.

I think i will go again this year, just nice to get out and check out some goodies. Going to take my son this year ( he got his first rod and reel for christmas ). He is very excited, but i think i am more excited to hit the water with my son for the first time.
Keep me posted when you know which day you will be going!

I'll be there! Probably the Saturday .. Great place to network etc as posted by others.. Plus check out some new gear for the up coming season

I may not be at this one but if I am it will be with the Lews booth and my next appearances will be at the Spring Fishing and Boat show at the St.Croix booth for the saturday/sunday. Also don't forget peeps that Bass Pro is having big sales those weeks coming up, I think their classic is run from the 5/6 until the 16th or something. Kinda stupid of them that their biggest pro(KVD) is going to be at the Spring fishing and boat show and not at BPS lol. I will be at the BPS in vaughan on the 15th/16th.

Make sure to check out the Toronto Urban Fishing Ambassadors booth #1846

Has anyone done the Sportsmen's Show Casting Pond?
If so what have you guys won?

$75,000 CASTING POND
You won't land a live fish out of this Casting Pond, but you might land your share of over $75,000 in cash prizes! It's as easy as casting your magnetized lure into the pond to retrieve a tagged metal disc. The disc you land might win you one of thousands of available prizes, but if you are really lucky it will present you with an opportunity to take part in the exciting Cast Off For Cash!

Timing and good luck in snagging one of 10 specially tagged discs will secure a spot at the Cast Off, but it's skill that will bring home the cash. Casting from 50 feet out, these 10 finalists have one chance to drop their lure into a steel hoop to take home one of two grand cash prizes of $30,000.

was thinking of heading there saturday after some hardwater. great place to spend an afternoon ;)
Good luck, have a good one!

Think I can score a deal on a rod at this show? Sail has the Fenwick HMG i'm looking at for $89.99 plus 15% off, seems to be the best deal I can find right now.

If it's at the show you might be able to score a deal, but if you go just for the rod then the price of admission may negate the savings. There were a bunch of merchants that had sales on a slew of rods. I'd say check it out if you get a chance!

Thanks, I would most likely do a walk around, but really it would be about a rod.
