Laketrout I cant help you, but for other trout try the upper credit river, check the open season maps on the forum here. I havent been there for a week and a half but when I was last there steelhead were still being caught.

There are no steelhead in the upper Credit River. Maybe the lower credit river. Also the upper Credit River is special regulations from Old Base Line to Hwy 9 and includes all tribs to the credit in that area. Regs are: ( single barbless hook, AKA 1 point.. no organic bait and is catch a release ) - MNR has been seen handing out tickets for worms and barbs..

Most tribs in the uppers sections around GTA have trout of some sort, browns, specs and rainbows, check out any of these in the upper sectiosn : duffins creek, Bowmanville creek, Humber river, Rouge river, Wilmot creek, Graham creek, Ganaraska, 16 mile, Bronte. etc.

My bad, I meant erindale and around the 401 area for my steelhead comment. Brookies and browns would be at the forks of the credit but check the regs first.
