Opener this year was ridiculous. Epic numbers of hungry dropbacks mixed in with pre spawn fish as well.
Arms sure got a workout in the morning. When it's so easy, I find it much less enjoyable. Yeah, everyone is getting insane numbers of fish... but there is no challenge fishing a stacked pool with 10 other guys. Fall and winter is where it's at
I didn't take very many pics, but I like this one of a nice coloured up pre-spawn buck:

More than likely done for the season.
Time to switch gears and go after carp and resident fish.
Plucked this one out recently before we got these heavy downpours.
