There is the Carp Angling World Championship on the St. Lawrence river in a few weeks. It is a five day event. You fish straight through as a two man team. You have to set up a baiting campaign that takes both knowledge and stamina.
Corn will sink. But you can make it pop up. You can buy fake floating corn or you can use a piece of yellow disposable ear plug and cut it into the right shape. You put it on the hair in combination with the real stuff. Lots of guys do this and they like the results.
