Upcoming weekend opening season

Took a walk to take a look at the water levels for a river I like to fish during the season . Compared to last week the level has dropped substantially and it is looking good for some deep nymph ,Streamer patterns to be fished.
I will probably head up on Friday evening and take my time in hitting the river on Saturday
With the water dropping so much I wil have to reevaluate some tackle for the weekend and might drop down a line weight or two .

I need all the Luck I can get because with my luck lately about the only thing I will catch is a cold.
For me it seems this stretch of river fishes best a little later into May , I normally find around the May 24 to be when it starts getting really good. Unfortunately I will be working out of town for the may 24 weekend and will not be back until closer to the end of the month so I am limited to getting on the water a little earlier than normal .

I have to work both days of opening weekend i may still try and get out after work though. May even call in sick next week to have a full day haha
