So I am heading to the upper Niagara river tomorrow , First time for me, so any suggestions on what to use out there? I use spinning and baitcastergear and will be fishing from shore.

I hear the water is not to deep up there can any one confirm this, is it very rocky?

Thanks Bow Man

up around fort erie peace bridge the water is shallow and fast, experienced guys know how to fish the holes for walleye, musky and trout. if you go down more between Frenchman's creek & netherby road, its slower and you can wade out and fish for smallies, and maybe bonus musky or walleye. this video should help...

Thanks for that very helpful, is there areas that you can fish if you are not wading out? Don't have waders yet!!

you can fish along Jarvis st in fort erie, theres a breakwall there. but you don't really need waders, just some sandals and shorts to get out a little bit further. water should be warm enough. the bass aren't very deep, walleye might be out of range in the daytime though
