Use of Live Bait????

Hi i just Wanted to know is it legal to use live bait in ontario? like shrimp or minnows?

it is legal but only in some places with certain types of bait, it is illegal to use any sort of gamefish or gamefish fry as bait, and it is also illegal to use anything that has been in an aquarium(like your pet fish if you have any) for risk of introduceing invasive species or disease

shrimp I'm not exactly sure on, but as far as minnows goes, you have to get them at the local tackle shop in the area you're fishing due to the new VHS rules for minnows to prevent the spread of the disease from different lakes & bodies of water.
