My husband and I are planning a trip to Little Canada Camp on the English river. Anyone every been there? We were there about 6 years ago and the fishing was great. We have been fishing Wabigoon Lake the last 3-5 years was a great place to fish also. Money a little tighter this year had to get a different car and the price off gas we had to look for a better price for our trip. Is ice out going to be early this year around Ear Falls on the English River? Thanks any info will help.

Hi There. It is hard for us to know many of the lakes in Ontario or any other province because in Ontario alone there are over 250,000 lakes in this one province alone. If this lake is in the province of Ontario then the ice will probably go out very early as we have had an very warm end of the winter, temperatures in the 16-20 degree Celsius ranges.

I'll get back to you tomorrow. Looks like I'll be up that way all summer.
There are so many great lakes in that system, it's mind boggling.
Are you looking for walleye, pike, bass or trout? Or all of the above, lol
