When you guys wacky rig your worms and do not put the hook through the worm, but rather use elastics to secure it to the hook, what do you use and how do you rig it?

I just put the hook through the middle of the worm.

I personally use circle hook.

Than again any type of hook seems to work as well.

Wacky Rig is Openfire's favorite worm rig.

Cool another thing that I just put on the list to try.

Thx

A great way to save on worms is to use elastics to secure the worm to the hook. For those who do this, what elastic do you use?

You can buy one of those black O-rings from home depot. Make sure to buy the right size. Look @ Pluming section.

What do they typically use those black O-rings for, so they know where to look?

Which have ppl had more success with tubes or wacky worms?

If you know where the fish are at
If you know the proper presentation
If you know how to read the weather condition
I don't think it matters which way you go
Besides if it's either tube or worm... try both.

As for us shore fishing people... we don't know... so we just do random casts and pray :(

Picked up some worms, hooks and o-rings yesterday..4 o-rings where more expensive then the worms.

39hrs left till Bass opens...

o-ring cost more?

no way! heck even BPS have specific o-rings for waky rig.

thing i hate about bps is that ... especially softbaits... is all over the freaking place.

Do you mean - all over the store or all different price ranges?

Not the price but items seems like it's all over the freaking store. (softbait)
I don't know... it just ain't so organized there.

I hate it when you get use to the layout then they change everything......I'm banned from buying anything else.
