honestly what is the difference between a circus chimp and a weather man---circus chimp prob knows you gotta be a fool to predict the weather....nam these guys are usless stright up...they said it was gonna rain and its sunny wtf----i am so pissed..i am going to become a weatherman its the only career where you can be completely useless and still make good money...

Hmmm. If you're relying on weather reports it's a good idea to check the P.O.P (probability of precipitation). A lot of times it'll show it's going to rain, but the P.O.P is at 40%. You can immediately tell it's not going to be heavy rain even if it does rain. If it's up at 100% then it's probably going to be raining and raining pretty hard. I hope this helps.

I feel your pain brother!! If these dry conditions continue its going to be a very boring fall....The creeks are so low here its just sad.

I look at the radar more than anything else. The moon is our friend too, but with the low water, they'll have a hard time running into the creeks. Rain rain!

Ask any pilot, a weather report past 12 hours is a crapshoot. They're doing the best they can with what is not an exact science, there are just too many variables. I never bother with them. If it calls for rain the next day I just go to bed, get up in the morning, and then look out the window. That is my weather report, I only cancel things at the last minute.

Has it really been that dry? Yes, the water levels are low at certain rivers due to the dry spring and summer, but I think I've seen a fair bit of rain this September.

From what I've heard from pilots, they only know exactly what's going to happen weatherwise for 20 minutes head.

It might be true that they are wrong a lot and still make good money, but in what other profession do you get second guessed by a groundhog?? It's the Rodney Dangerfield of professions(if you're old enough to remember him.

The lack of rain concentrates fishermen on the larger rivers like the Geen. There always seems to be fish to be caught there even when the water is low.

soon the fish are gonna have to walk up river to dump those eggs...lol---dear fish--i tell you what i will deliver your eggs---in return you need to hop onto this peice of hickory and hop into this lovely sauna....lol aaaah i need rain!
