Rice Lake Master
I was looking forward to getting in some fishing this weekend by myself. Weather forcast was sweet to say the least.
Started out on Friday night with some dock fishing and it was slower then normal. Only managed one Smallie dropshotting a #210 Slammer.
Changed over to a Jitterbug as the water surface calmed down but wasn't able to catch anything. The closest attempt I had was as I was getting the rod ready for the first cast, unhooked the lure and just dropped it next to the dock to reel in the slack and something came to the surface and tried to go for it as it sat there. Slow Friday night, BUMMER!
Saturday morning I headed out for a few hours and once again the bite was very slow. Was getting some nibbles on my dropshot setup but that was it. Changed over to a Mizmo Coffeee Tube and also nothing. Then tried a Jointed Rapala in the Perch Colour and On my second cast as I was runnning it over some weeds I hooked into a small little 14"er. Small dark spot on its side.

That was it on the day. Saturday night managed 3 Crappies off the dock, a couple of 8's and a 10 dropshotting a Slammer yet again.
Sunday morning was kinda slow to. Tried various techniques but was only able to catch one and yes it once again came dropshotting a #210 Slammer in about 8 FOW. Measured 17.5" I tried all depths and had a few bites here and there, lost one decent fish but generally it was really slow this weekend.
