So tomorrow morning is my first competitive indoor shooting tournament this year, ( bow shooting ). I will be competing in the 30yrd and 50 yrd shoots. Very excited have been doing lots of prep work for this. I just I should say that I have been shooting competitively for 10yrs now.

I compete in the "seniors" class 30 and over. Looking at the list of competitors it should be a very challenging, but I feel I have a very shot at some prize money and some very good points that will go towards my goal of get into the provincial championships.

So I am back from my first competition this year..... finished 4th out of the 45 shooters in my division, I was 10 points from finishing 3rd ! I am very happy with my overall results and the points I gained will help me my qualify for the Provincial Championships later this year.

For finishing 4th I won $500.00 cash ( new fishing gear !!! ). Also 2 dozen Easton carbon arrows ( very nice ). Plus it automatically qualifies me for the next shoot. ( fees are paid for me ). So all in all a very good result and weekend.

Thanks... I guess I am ok for a old guy LOL. But the farther I go the competition , gets much harder.

Oh and yeah this goes to the fly gear shopping spree! I have all the archery equipment I need.

Interesting sports .... the further your target, the higher you aim plus wind factors, speed, weight of your arrow ....... lots of breathing exercise will surely help Wish you the best !
