I minimize the number of bass by running roe, but that doesn't mean that I don't catch a lot of bass on roe because I do . If I run worms or meal worms or wax worms then I catch bass on almost every cast.All I was trying to say was that you will catch fewer bass on roe than if you run other popular baits. Anyone who has ever tried drifting a black stone fly under a float in the spring can attest to the frustration of trying to get the fly to a trout before a bass strikes.

I absolutely hate it when a catfish takes my bait and I am not fishing for them, with their barbs and all!

Bass are a native species so I would personally prefer to see someone smashing OOS Steelhead or Chinooks rather than Bass
