a buddy and i went out last night in the rain.10:30-4am.mellows and roe.non stop bump action.missed one due to washroom break.they were jumping all around us.still it was fun for first outing of the season(everything is fun when you have your friend corona with you).got shut down when the man upstairs decided throw some light at us while at the very end of the pier.going back again on monday night.nothing better than a beer , a view and the chance at a fish!

the mellows are just to say you had bait on your hook.really when the run starts you would have just as much luck snagging them with a bare hook.the roe is for the trout that follow.

Fishing lures like spinners in pools upstream will catch fish, so does jigging things like flies and pink worms or stripping streamers. You might not catch as many as you would if you were using the same unethical approach that many anglers use, but it's much more gratifying knowing you caught them legitimately.

No you said row and a marshmellow. You said marshmellow is your float, and roe is your bait, but in another post you said that roe is for the TROUT that follow...
