Bow Man, those #00 Mepps are amazing in small creeks. If you have not yet, give the 1/32 oz panther martins a try too (Fishusa.com has both the mepps and panther martins).

Cheers that was what i was hoping for. :) I will look into the 1/32nd panthers. I find that these small sizes are hard to find at most shops.

I would agree with that statement! Where did you find yours? The above mentioned website was the only place I could find a good reliable supply from a secure, legitimate source.

Why that net specifically?

Carp Addiction recommended it. I hope you don't mind if I post this...

"Behr Octaplus Superstrong Net $64.00
They link payment to your paypal account.
You really dont want to skimp out on a net man, just like a reel, its one of the more important investments for a serious angler.
This thing is a beauty though. Take my word for it. Its handled everything I throw at it and has a long adjustable handle.
Best of all, it doesnt smell!
I was looking for a good net for a long time having gone through a lot of cheaper ones. This one is all I'll ever need as long as she holds out ;)
Good luck man!"

I was looking for a net to use while fishing the shorelines of lake O. Some parts of the shoreline are a couple feet up and my current net won't cut it.
I'm hoping to use this net for carp, big pike and salmon in the fall at the piers.
