For lunch, I just had perhaps the tastiest fish I've ever eaten. Very, very basic preparation.
Frozen, skinless, boneless Alaskan Pollock fillets, placed on a frying pan with about a tablespoon of flavourless oil (I used grapeseed), on medium heat to get it heated up. Once it starts frying, flip over once, cover, and reduce to low heat. In about 5-10 minutes, it should go from frozen to cooked and very delicate. I'm not a cook and don't know the mechanics of what is going on in that frying pan, but water vapour is building up like crazy, almost like steaming and frying the fish simultaneously. I eat halibut pretty much everyday, but this pollock tasted way better than any halibut I've had.
I bought 3 packs of fillets when they were on sale for $3 the other day at Superstore, but I will be out in no time at this rate. I just consumed an entire pack for lunch (had to make seconds)!
