In thought of the other disscussion "what did you purchase today" what is your personal favourite lure. Mine is the livetarget soft frog. I can throw that where ever I want and no weed or dirty water can stop me and it works excellent on the bass.

Check sig pic. In a span of 30 days I hauled in about 30 pikes. downside is the hooks need to be replaced after 4 days. Outfished my husky jerk & mepps scyclops.

i have the same lure, still in packaging.....thought of you when I bought it......lol

I dont know how to choose one.

Last summer in Muskoka I made it my goal to pin as many species as possible. Although pinning Pike and walleye was awesome, I think smashing top water bass on the pin was one of the most unique and fun ways I have fished. I had an awesome experience with this pattern:

well thank you dear. it would be great to try them ice out. jerk...pause...slow retrieve. I want pictures!!!

For Bass: tubes- watermelon
For Muskie: Mepps Muskie killers- black/red
For Pike: Booyah midnight spinner baits- black

I seem to always find myself relying on a 1/4-3/4 oz. Boo Yah Bait Spinner bait, The Golden shiner color pretty much decimated all my other lures in the rivers around me. So easy to change your retrieve speed, depth, etc.. on a spinner bait I don't go out with a few of my favorite color patterns.

If I had one it would be the wooly bugger...

although on conventional I would have to say the Kastmaster spoons, picked a few up in the fall so far they have caught smallies, steelhead, brookies, salmon and lake trout...

mepps aglia have caught a few pb's with it in the past especially in silver and black size 5 for musky and large pike size 3 for gar, smaller musky, bass, walleye, size 0-1 for big specks and rainbows.
