I agree with Dave c for swinging then nymphs or egg patterns in my single hand or wooly buggers some muddler minnows

Ive had sucess running long leads and weighted on jighead hooks under a float as well or bottom bounced on a 3way rig with pencil weights. You lose alot but it works...

An excellent fly that no one has mentioned and has caught me quite a few Steelies is : Bears Crossdresser pattern. It can be drifted or swung. I guess it looks like a small fry.

Micro buggers are great.

thats some sweet looking hackle. I can never seem to find quality hackle when im looking. Its always those short feathers that done even come close to making it the length of the fly.
