Hello,

Where can I buy some glowsticks? Not the looooong ones but short ones? say... like 2" or so?

I've only seen ones that you clip on to rod tip from LeBarons, that is all. and it ain't that cheap either.

try most dollar stores, look for the glow earings. 2 sticks each package, and comes with a spring holder for them ( easy to rig that way) think they're 1 inch long

Yeah man cant go wrong with dollar store glow rope. use scotch tape to hold them onto your rod tip.

I use the finger lights for dollar store. Last couple nights too. Just tape to the tip an good to go. Four or five in a pack.

Hi bought some of the finger light from the dollar too here what i did. hope you understand what i meant
cheers

Hi

I have been to Dollarama, Everything for a Dollar, they only have the big ones for girls wrists, no earrings. I even tried these independent $ stores.

The only idea I thought of was to take one of these long wrist glow stick and cut it on site and bring a hot melt glue gun to seal the ends. Then tape or glue the short glow stick to a float.

Can you tell me (PM) which one you went to?

Thanks.

Try the one at box grove. 407 an ninth line. They have lots

Too far for me. I don't go out that way much, cost $15 in gas alone. Not all dollarama's carry the same stuff just like Everything for (over) a Dollar. I'll try cutting the long wrist and hot melt the ends untill I can find them out here.

Thanks.

I get mine at Angling Specialties in Mississauga. In the plaza on Confedration Parkway 1 block south of burnhamthorpe. less than $2 for a 2 pack

Mikey

Where you live? Have you tried dollarama? There is a Dollar Giant just opened up somewhat near me I'll check it out when I go near there. Gas is too expensive to just drive around all over the city to get short ones. If I pass by and find in south Scarb. I'll post here.

I want the short glowsticks that you put on the top of floats for night fishing. So I went to the Dollar Giant on Warden and Eg yesterday. Dollar Giant just opened up and now it's a Dollar Tree. They have a cardboard tube of 12 wrist glowsticks for $1.25. No short earring 1" or 2 ", so will have to either snap and cut to length, then hot melt or dollar store epoxy the ends on site when needed. But each one is 8" long. Beats paying $3 each at Bass Pro, I was there yesterday too. I also got a pack of the necklace type but they are about 1/2" diameter and 4" long. I activated it and found it will float and light up the whole bucket of water I dropped it into. Not much of it sticks out of the water tho, not so good as a glowing float.......lol. I'll try the hot glue and epoxy to see if it sticks to the glow sticks. Wish me luck.

Good fishing.

A buck a piece is not too bad, won't have to glue it. I'll keep that in mind if I go west. Seems like no one in the east end knows where to get them cheap.

Thanks for the info.

Dollarama has them 5 for $2. The best deal ever

Yeah it is a good deal but which dollarama? I been to 3 of them. How long are the ones you seen? I bought a pack of 5 each were 8" long. These are for girls to wear as bracelets. Great if you go out with some buddies, cut it up into 3 or 4 then everyone gets a piece. I think I found them in the party supply section.

Pm me yur area an when I find the small glow sticks I will get a good stock, an I can get enough for you too. I I have not seen the small sticks in a long time.
